Our Story

Before HydroClean, David Laton worked in retail management. The shifts were very long, and the schedule did not work for his family.

He wanted two things. One was a business that served the people of Jackson and Madison County. The other was the freedom to control his own schedule. So he started HydroClean in 2010.

That was about 16 years ago. David still answers the phone himself and still works the jobs. Most customers just call him David.

Ask David what HydroClean does and he says it in one sentence: we clean, maintain, and protect all types of flooring in both residential and commercial applications.

Each floor has its own process. Carpet is cleaned by hot water extraction from a truck mount. Tile and grout get a high-pressure hot rinse. Hardwood is a two-step clean, and we offer screen and recoat, though we do not sand to bare wood. Luxury vinyl plank is cleaned almost the same way as hardwood, often with gentler cleaners. On upholstery we identify the fiber first.

For a business the process is the same as for a home, with more to work out ahead of time: timing, keys and alarm codes.

Today HydroClean has over 270 five-star reviews and a 4.9 rating. People call because of that reputation, the reviews, or a referral from a friend or family member.

The plan from here is to keep doing the work the same way. David says it like this: we set realistic expectations, are honest about our work, show up on time, and take the time to do every job correctly. We treat people like family.
