Truck-mounted carpet cleaning in Jackson uses hot water extraction. The equipment on our truck heats water to 200 to 240°F. We spray it into the carpet at 300 to 500 PSI, and the vacuum pulls it straight back out to the truck with the soil. Most carpet manufacturers name this method in their warranties.

Hot water extraction is the method behind most professional carpet cleaning, and it is what people usually mean by steam cleaning. Heat and pressure loosen the soil, and the vacuum pulls it back out to the truck. The soil leaves your home instead of being pushed deeper or left to dry back into the fiber.

The numbers matter. We run 300 to 500 PSI at the wand with water heated to 200 to 240°F. Hot water breaks down oily soil that cold water leaves behind, and the pressure gets it down into the pile.

The heat, the pressure and the vacuum are all made on the truck parked outside, with hoses run into the house. The truck mount handles nearly every job. We have portable equipment for the rare job that needs it.

We check the fiber before we choose a temperature. To get a price, call or send an estimate request with the rooms and rough sizes.

Benefits of Hot Water Extraction

  • Soil comes out of the full depth of the fiber
  • The method most carpet manufacturers specify for warranty compliance
  • Heat breaks down oils and greasy soil
  • Soil leaves the house and goes to the truck
  • Less cleaner left behind, so the carpet re-soils more slowly

Who This Is For

  • Jackson homeowners who want a thorough clean for their carpet
  • Households that need to keep a carpet warranty
  • Homes with pets, cooking oils or heavy traffic soil
  • Anyone who has tried a rental machine and wants a deeper result

Our Process

  1. Walkthrough and Fiber Check

The fiber decides the cleaner and the safe water temperature. Wool and synthetics are handled differently.

  2. Pre-Vacuum

Every area is vacuumed before any water goes in.

  3. Move Furniture

We move furniture where needed, clean underneath, then put it back on blocks.

  4. Traffic-Lane Cleaner

It goes on the walked areas and gets time to break the bond between the soil and the fiber.

  5. Extraction

Water at 200 to 240°F goes in at 300 to 500 PSI and comes straight back out. The recovery goes to the truck.

  6. Spots and Second Rinse

Spots still showing are treated and rinsed again. We neutralize the carpet if it needs it.

  7. Drying

About half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours. Air movers speed it up.

What's Included

  • A fiber check and the right cleaner for it
  • Pre-vacuuming
  • Furniture moved where needed and blocked
  • Traffic-lane cleaner with time to work
  • Truck-mounted extraction at 200 to 240°F
  • Spot treatment and a second rinse
  • Neutralizing if the carpet needs it
  • A chance to look at the work before we leave

Realistic Results, Honestly

We would rather set an honest expectation than make a promise we cannot keep.

  • Extraction is the most thorough cleaning method we offer, but it is still cleaning. It does not reverse fiber wear, dye stains or sun fading.
  • Carpet dries in about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours. Humidity, airflow and how much water the job needed all shift that. Extraction uses more water than low-moisture methods, and that is the trade for a deeper clean.
  • Very delicate or unusual fibers may call for low-moisture cleaning instead. We check the fiber first and recommend the safer method if extraction is not right for it.

Safe for Your Family and Pets

Our products are family safe and pet safe, and we rinse them out. The hot water stays inside the hoses and the wand. We check the fiber before choosing a temperature, so nothing gets more heat than it can take.

Hot Water Extraction Questions

Is hot water extraction the same as steam cleaning?

In everyday use, yes. People say steam cleaning and mean hot water extraction. Strictly, it is heated water and cleaner, not steam vapor, but the two names describe the same service.

Is truck-mounted cleaning better than a rental machine?

Heat, pressure and vacuum make the difference. Our truck-mounted equipment runs 200 to 240°F water at 300 to 500 PSI and pulls it back out to the truck.

Does extraction over-wet the carpet?

Not when the vacuum is strong. It pulls back most of what goes in. Over-wetting comes from weak recovery. Expect about half a day of drying, sometimes up to 24 hours.

Will this keep my carpet warranty valid?

Most carpet manufacturers specify hot water extraction by a professional at set intervals. Keep your invoice as a record, and check your own warranty for the required frequency.

Wondering about cost? We do not post prices, but you can see what affects the price of carpet cleaning.
