Three Way is about ten minutes north of Jackson in Madison County, one of the closest towns to our base. We clean carpet, upholstery, tile and grout, and hardwood in its newer open-plan homes and its older properties. Our products are family safe and pet safe, and carpet dries in about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours.
Floor Care in Three Way
Three Way is one of the newer towns in West Tennessee. It incorporated in 1998 at the junction that gives it its name, where the Highway 45 Bypass meets the roads toward Medina and Humboldt. It sits just north of Jackson and has grown steadily since.
Because the town is young, many of its homes are fairly new. We see the pattern of new West Tennessee subdivisions: builder-grade carpet in bedrooms and living areas, ceramic tile in kitchens, bathrooms and entries, and open layouts that spread traffic wider than older homes do.
Open layouts change how carpet soils. Instead of one narrow lane through a doorway, traffic fans out across a wide area. The soil is less concentrated but covers more ground. It looks like general dulling rather than a dark path, and it usually cleans up well because it has not been ground into one strip.

What to Expect
We do not always know what will come out until we clean it. Most soil does, and many stains improve. Traffic lanes clean up well but may still show wear, because years of foot traffic wear down the fiber itself. Old dye loss and pet urine that reached the pad or subfloor can remain, and we tell you that before we start. Carpet dries in about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours.

My carpet looks generally dull rather than having dark paths. Why?
Open layouts spread traffic across a wide area instead of a narrow doorway lane. The result is overall dulling rather than a defined path. Because the soil has not been ground into one strip, it usually cleans up well.
Is builder-grade carpet worth cleaning?
Yes, and it may need it more. Builder-grade carpet is a lighter build and shows soil sooner, so a cleaning every 12 to 18 months does more for its life than it would for heavier carpet. Protector on the main paths helps it hold up between visits.
Is it worth sealing grout in a newer Three Way house?
Usually. Grout a few years old has often never been sealed, or the first sealer has worn off, and that is when it starts absorbing soil. We can check it when we come out. Sealing clean grout is far easier than dealing with stained grout later.
