Kitchen tile cleaning in Jackson deals with cooking grease, food spills and heavy foot traffic. Grease forms a tacky film on kitchen floor tile that holds dust, and it soaks into the grout. That is why kitchen grout darkens fastest near the stove and sink. Cleaner goes on first, then a hot high-pressure rinse.

Every kitchen has grease on the floor, whether you notice it or not. Cooking puts oil into the air. It settles on every surface, and on the floor it forms a slightly tacky film. That film grabs the dust and grit that comes through the door. It is why a kitchen floor feels different underfoot from a hallway, and why it goes dark faster.

The grout takes the worst of it. Grease works into porous cement and stays, which is why the lines nearest the range and the sink are usually the darkest in the house. Household cleaners and hot mop water move grease around and thin it out. They do not remove it.

So the cleaner goes on first, with a pump sprayer, and gets time to break the grease down. Then comes the rinse: 200 to 240°F water at about 1,000 to 1,200 PSI, vacuumed out to the truck as it goes. Heat matters on grease.

The path between the sink, the range and the refrigerator is walked all day, so it takes both grease and grit, and it gets extra passes. Call (731) 437-0006 or request an estimate.

Benefits of Kitchen Tile Cleaning

  • Cleaner gets time to break grease down before the rinse
  • Rinse water heated to 200 to 240°F
  • Extra passes on the sink, range and refrigerator path
  • Hand tools along cabinet toe kicks and appliance edges
  • Our opinion on sealing, which matters most in a kitchen

Who This Is For

  • Jackson homes where the kitchen grout is the darkest in the house
  • Anyone whose kitchen floor feels tacky after mopping
  • Homes that cook often, fry or use a gas range
  • Kitchens getting ready for a sale, listing photos or holiday guests
  • Restaurant, church and commercial kitchen floors

Our Process

  1. Look the Floor Over

We look at where grease has settled and where the walking path is, and check the grout for failing spots, hairline cracks and old repairs.

  2. Clear the Floor

Mats, bins and anything loose come off the tile.

  3. Apply the Cleaner

Cleaner goes on the tile and grout with a pump sprayer and gets time to break down the grease. In a kitchen, this step does a lot of the work.

  4. High-Pressure Rinse and Vacuum

We rinse at about 1,000 to 1,200 PSI with 200 to 240°F water. The tool vacuums the grease and soil out to the truck as it goes.

  5. Toe Kicks and Appliance Edges

Cabinet toe kicks, the strips beside the dishwasher and range, and thresholds are done with hand tools.

  6. Look It Over Together

You look at the floor with us before we leave.

Realistic Results, Honestly

We would rather set an honest expectation than make a promise we cannot keep.

  • Grease that has soaked into unsealed grout for years can leave a lasting tint, most often on light grout right in front of the range. It may not match the grout under the dining table. Color sealing is the fix if that bothers you.
  • We clean up to appliances. Ranges, refrigerators and dishwashers stay where they are. If an appliance moves later, expect a visible line where it sat.
  • Without sealing, kitchen grout starts absorbing grease again right away. This is the room where sealing does the most good, and also the room where it wears fastest.
  • Cleaning cannot repair grout that heat, water and traffic have already broken down. Crumbling lines in front of the sink or dishwasher need repair, and we tell you before we clean.

Safe for Your Family and Pets

Our products are family safe and pet safe, and the rinse takes them out. That matters in a kitchen, where food is handled and pets eat. Nothing is left tacky or slippery.

Kitchen Tile Cleaning Questions

Why is my kitchen grout darker than the rest of the house?

Cooking grease. Oil settles across the room and soaks into porous grout, then holds onto the dust and grit walked in. That is why kitchen grout darkens first.

Why does my kitchen floor feel sticky after I mop?

Mopping thins out grease and detergent residue without removing it, so a tacky film spreads across the whole floor. Cleaner and a hot rinse take it away instead of moving it around.

Do you move the refrigerator and stove?

No. We clean up to appliances and do the edges we can reach by hand. Moving appliances puts the floor, the appliance and the water line at risk.

Should I seal my kitchen grout?

If you cook often, it is worth it. Unsealed grout soaks up grease all the time, and that is why the lines went dark. Sealing gives you time to wipe up spills before they soak in.
