    Remaining spots are treated and rinsed again. The carpet is neutralized if it needs it.

  7. Drying

    A heavier clean leaves more moisture, so we set air movers to speed it up.

Realistic Results, Honestly

We would rather set an honest expectation than make a promise we cannot keep.

  • Deep cleaning removes soil, not wear. Carpet walked flat in traffic lanes for years has worn fiber, and the cleaner lane will still show that path.
  • Heavily soiled carpet takes more water, so drying runs toward the long end of about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours, especially in a humid summer.
  • On very old carpet, deep cleaning can reveal wear that the soil was hiding. We point that out on the walkthrough so it is not a surprise.
  • Stains follow the same rules. Deep cleaning lifts general soil a great deal but does not change what can be done about dye damage. We do not always know what will come out.

Do I need deep cleaning or standard cleaning?

If your carpet was professionally cleaned in the last year or two, standard cleaning is usually right. If it has been several years, or the carpet looks dull right after a clean, deep cleaning is the better use of your money. We will tell you which we think it needs when we see it.

Will deep cleaning damage older carpet?
