Jump to a section

HydroClean holds a 4.9 rating with over 270 five-star reviews, has been locally owned in Jackson, Tennessee since 2010, and has pages for nineteen West Tennessee communities. This page also lists the guidance ranges we work to, such as drying times and cleaning intervals, labeled as guidance and not as measurements taken in your home.

We publish only the numbers we can check, and we say where each one comes from.

So this page has two parts. First, the figures about HydroClean that you can check yourself. Second, the guidance ranges we work to. Those are common guidance, not measurements taken in your house.

General Industry Guidance, Clearly Labeled

These are planning ranges, not measurements from your house. The section below explains where they come from. If your floors sit outside a range, your technician will tell you on the day.

  • 12 to 18

    Months between cleanings

What we recommend for most homes. Children, pets and heavy traffic mean cleaning more often.

  • Half a day

    For carpet to dry

About half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours. Humidity, soil level and airflow all shift it.

  • 1 to 2

    Hours for hard floors

Tile, stone and hardwood are usually back in use within that window after we clean them.

  • 12 to 18

    Months in many carpet warranties

A common maintenance interval. Check your own paperwork, and keep the dated invoice from each cleaning.

Why does this page have so few numbers on it?

Because we have not measured them. We have not run lab tests on allergen removal, bacteria or indoor air quality in any customer home, so we do not publish a percentage for any of them.

We do not post prices either. David prices each job individually. The price depends on the area, how soiled it is, the surface, any stain or odor treatment and access. Travel is built into the price. There is a service minimum, so a very small job is billed at a flat minimum rate. Request an Estimate and we will give you a number for your job.

What are the guidance ranges based on?

They come from carpet makers' care guidance, IICRC training and what we see in West Tennessee homes. Carpet dries in about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours, and air movers speed that up. Carpet dries faster in winter than in a humid summer. Most homes should clean carpet every 12 to 18 months, more often with children and pets.

Treat them as planning numbers. A heavily soiled, closed-up room on a humid day sits at the long end, and we will tell you that on the day.

Common Questions

Where does the 4.9 star rating come from?

It is our public Google rating. We hold a 4.9 with over 270 five-star reviews, and you can check it yourself on Google.

Why do you not publish allergen removal percentages?

Because we have not lab tested any customer's home. Professional cleaning removes soil, dust and allergen carrying particles from the surfaces we clean, and that is what we claim. A percentage would need lab testing in your own home.

How many communities does HydroClean serve?

Nineteen West Tennessee communities have their own page on this site. Most of our work is in Jackson, Lexington, Brownsville, Milan, Medina, Humboldt and Henderson. We travel elsewhere in West Tennessee when the job is worth the time and the drive. If you are not sure we cover your area, call and ask.

Want an Estimate for Your Own Floors?

Call our Jackson team and ask, or send an estimate request. We collect the details, prepare your estimate, and schedule the work once you approve it. You get a chance to look at the work before we leave.
