HydroClean takes on the floor jobs that are not a standard cleaning, for homes and businesses in Jackson and West Tennessee. That includes area and oriental rugs, commercial floor maintenance, sanitizing, post-construction floors, and specialty sealers and coatings that can change the look of a floor while protecting it. We look at what you have first, then choose the method.
We clean, maintain and protect all types of flooring, in homes and in businesses. Most of that is carpet, tile, wood and upholstery. The jobs on these pages are the ones that do not fit neatly under those.
A wool rug has to be identified and tested before it is cleaned. A new kitchen floor is covered in drywall dust that turns to paste if you mop it. A business needs its floors kept up through the year. Each of those calls for a different approach, so we start by finding out what you have.
We also have access to specialty sealers and coatings that can change the look and feel of a floor while protecting it. If you have a project in mind, or you want a floor to look different from how it looks now, call us and tell us about it.
HydroClean has been locally owned and operated in Jackson since 2010. David Laton, the owner, still answers the phone and works the jobs.
The process is the same as any other job. Call or text (731) 437-0006 or send an estimate request. We respond to requests on the same business day. We collect the details. On some jobs we can give a phone estimate, with the final price set when we see it. On others we set a time for an in-home estimate. We prepare the estimate, you approve it and we schedule a time. When the job is done, you get a chance to look at the work before we leave.

All Specialty Services Services
Each service below has its own page. It explains how we do the work, what to expect and what may remain.
Area Rug Cleaning
Rug cleaning that starts with the fiber. We identify what the rug is made of and test the dyes, then choose how to clean it.
Oriental Rug Cleaning
Handmade wool and silk rugs. We look at the rug with you and arrange the cleaning through a partner in Memphis, Tennessee.
Commercial Floor Maintenance
Carpet and hard floor care for Jackson businesses. Same process as our home jobs, with timing, keys and alarm codes worked out ahead.
Sanitizing Treatments
A treatment applied after a floor is cleaned, for pet homes, clinics and shared buildings. It goes with a cleaning and does not replace one.
Allergy Relief Cleaning
Carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning for homes with allergies, with a hypoallergenic cleaner that has no odor or perfume.
Post-Construction Floor Cleaning
Dust first, water second. Drywall dust turns to paste when it gets wet, so it comes off the new floor dry before we clean.
Event-Ready Floor Cleaning
Floor cleaning scheduled around a date that cannot move, so the carpet is dry and the floors are ready before guests show up.
Odor Removal
Two kinds of odor work: pet odor treatment in carpet, and a chlorine dioxide treatment for smoke, mildew and musty smells.
Benefits
- A method chosen for the rug, floor or situation in front of us
- Rug fiber identified before anything is cleaned
- Specialty sealers and coatings that can change the look of a floor
- Commercial work planned around timing, keys and alarm codes
- You look at the work before we leave
Our Process
Call or Send a Request
Tell us what you have. A rug, a new floor covered in construction dust, a building that needs regular care, or a floor you want to look different.
We Collect the Details
We ask what needs to be done and about how big it is. On some jobs we can give a phone estimate, with the final price set when we see it. On others we set a time to come look.
Identify What We Are Working With
On a rug that means the fiber. On a floor it means the surface and what is on it. The method comes from that.
We Prepare the Estimate
You get an estimate for the work. If there is something we do not expect to change, we tell you then.
You Approve It and We Schedule
Once you approve the estimate we set a time. For a business we work out timing, keys and alarm codes. Purchase orders are fine.
We Do the Job and You Look at It
You get a chance to look at the work before we leave. If something is not right and it is within our ability, we make it right before we go.
What's Included
- A conversation about what you have and what you want done
- A phone estimate or an in-home estimate, depending on the job
- Identification of the fiber or surface
- A method chosen for that material
- A chance to look at the work before we leave
Realistic Results, Honestly
We would rather set an honest expectation than make a promise we cannot keep.
- We do not always know what will come out. That is true of rugs, old stains and new floors with construction residue on them. We tell you what we think before we start.
- Some things should not be wet cleaned. Certain silk, antique and unstable-dye rugs are in that group. When that is the case, we tell you no.
- Cleaning is not repair. Worn pile, frayed fringe, scratched finish and faded dye will be cleaner and still be there.
- Sanitizing and allergy work are cleaning services. We make no medical claims about them.
Safe for Your Family and Pets
The products we use are tested and safe for homes, including homes with children and pets. If anyone has severe allergies or sensitivities, tell us ahead of time. We have a hypoallergenic cleaner with no odor or perfume.
What Customers Say
“David's team did an amazing job for us today. Carpets and area rugs look brand new. Thank you!”
Hayley L. · Google review · July 2025 “David always does a good job and asks if there is anything he needs to pay special attention to. He cleans our carpets quarterly at our office.”
Charlene B. · Google review · December 2025 “Great service! They were both professional and knowledgeable. We have two dogs and four kids so our carpet needed a good cleaning. Our staircase was the worst for pet accidents and they removed the stains and odor which was my biggest concern. Highly recommend!”

Specialty Services Questions
What counts as a specialty service?
The jobs that do not fit a standard cleaning. Area and oriental rugs, commercial floor maintenance, sanitizing, allergy cleaning, odor treatment, post-construction floors, getting floors ready for an event, and specialty sealers and coatings.
What are specialty sealers and coatings?
Products that go on a floor after cleaning to protect it. Some of them can also change how the floor looks and feels. If you have a project in mind, give us a call and tell us what you are after.
How do you clean area rugs?
It depends on the rug. We identify the fiber first. For a synthetic area rug, we choose the method from there. Oriental and fine wool rugs are cleaned through a partner in Memphis, Tennessee, and we arrange it. Tell us what you have when you call.
Is sanitizing a substitute for cleaning?
No. Sanitizer put on a dirty floor mostly treats the dirt. It is applied after cleaning, and a lot of homes do not need it.
Why does construction dust need special handling?
Drywall dust turns to paste when it gets wet. If you mop a dusty new floor, you push that paste into the grout lines and the texture, where it sets. It has to come off dry first.
How quickly can floors be ready before an event?
Tile, stone and hardwood floors are usually ready for use within 1 to 2 hours. Carpet takes about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours. Tell us your date when you call so we can schedule with room to spare.
Do you serve areas outside Jackson?
Yes. Most of our work is in Jackson, Lexington, Brownsville, Milan, Medina, Humboldt and Henderson. For a job farther out in West Tennessee, call (731) 437-0006 and tell us your town and what you need done.
What if I am not happy with the result?
You look at the work before we leave. If something is not right and it is within our ability, we make it right before we go. If you notice something later, call. David will come back, look at it, and re-clean it if it needs it.
Wondering about cost? We do not post prices, but you can see what affects the price of floor cleaning.
Request an Estimate From Our Jackson Team
Tell us your town, what needs cleaning and the rough sizes. For some services we can estimate by phone and set the final price when we see the floor. For others we book an in-home estimate. Once you approve it, we schedule a time.
Trusted by our neighbors in Jackson, West Tennessee since 2010. Family safe, pet safe.
Other Services We Provide
Our Jackson team cleans every floor and fabric in your home or building, each with the method that fits it.
Tile & Grout Cleaning
Cleaner from a pump sprayer, then a hot high-pressure rinse that is vacuumed out to the truck as it goes down.
Hardwood Floor Cleaning
Deep cleaning that takes years of cleaner residue and store-bought polish off a wood floor. We also screen and recoat. We do not sand to bare wood.
VCT & Hard Surface Floors
Strip and wax, scrubbing and buffing for VCT in West Tennessee churches, schools, medical offices and office buildings, plus other hard floors.
LVP & LVT Luxury Vinyl Flooring
Luxury vinyl plank and tile hold soil in their ridged finish. We clean the floor, extract that soil and rinse it. We do not strip or wax it.
Natural Stone Cleaning
Any natural stone floor, including marble, granite, travertine and slate, safely cleaned and sealed. We identify the stone before any product goes on it.
Carpet Cleaning
Hot water extraction that flushes embedded soil out of the pile and sends it back out to the truck.
Upholstery Cleaning
Sofas, chairs, sectionals and mattresses cleaned in your home, with the method picked after we identify the fiber.
