Mattress cleaning in Jackson is done with low moisture, because a mattress cannot be dried out the way carpet can. Padding holds water deep inside, where air never reaches, and that risks mold. We clean body oil, sweat residue and dust from the surface. We do not clean memory foam or hybrid mattresses.

You spend about a third of your life on your mattress, and it collects what you would expect: sweat, skin oil, dead skin cells and the dust that all of it holds. Dust mites feed on the skin cells, which is why a clean mattress matters to anyone in the house with allergies or asthma.

The most important thing about cleaning a mattress is what we do not do. A mattress is a thick block of foam, fiber padding and springs with fabric ticking over the top. There is no way to get air into the middle of it. Flush it with water the way you would flush a carpet, and most of that water goes somewhere nobody can reach or dry. A damp foam core is where mold starts.

So we work the surface. Dry soil and dust come off first. Then the ticking and the top layer of padding get a low-moisture clean, without soaking anything, and it air-dries. We do not clean memory foam or hybrid mattresses. Call or text (731) 437-0006 or request an estimate.

Benefits of Mattress Cleaning

  • Works on body oil, sweat residue, dead skin and dust at the surface

  • Helpful for allergy and asthma sufferers sensitive to dust mites
  • No heavy fragrance
  • Dries in a few hours

Who This Is For

  • Households with children who have had accidents
  • Anyone who has bought a used or inherited mattress
  • Guest room mattresses before visitors arrive
  • Anyone who has never had a mattress cleaned

Our Process

  1. Strip and Inspect

Bedding comes off. We check both sides for staining and damage and tell you what we think about each area.

  2. Check the Construction

Innerspring and pillow-top mattresses hold moisture differently, and that decides how little liquid we use. If the mattress is memory foam or a hybrid, we do not clean it.

  3. Dry Soil Removal

We vacuum the whole surface, the seams, the piping and the sides.

  4. Low-Moisture Cleaning

A light application goes into the ticking. The goal is to clean the surface and the top of the padding without soaking the core.

  5. Spot Treatment

Individual marks get treated sparingly and blended outward, because a water ring on a mattress shows as much as the stain did.

  6. Air-Dry

The moisture is drawn back out right away and the mattress air-dries. We tell you when it is safe to remake the bed.

Realistic Results, Honestly

We would rather set an honest expectation than make a promise we cannot keep.

  • We do not clean memory foam or hybrid mattresses. Tell us what kind of mattress you have when you call.
  • Mattress cleaning is a surface service. It cleans the ticking and the upper padding. It cannot clean the inside of the foam core, because there is no safe way to get moisture back out of it.
  • Old body fluid stains on mattress ticking are often permanent. Sweat, urine and blood that have dried again and again have oxidized into the fabric and changed its color. The yellowing may remain.
  • If contamination has soaked deep into the foam, low-moisture cleaning may reduce odor without removing it. In those cases replacement is usually the better advice.
  • Check your mattress warranty before you book. Many manufacturers void coverage on a mattress with staining, and some have rules about wet cleaning.
  • Cleaning reduces dust mite allergen on the surface. It does not sterilize a mattress, and we will not claim otherwise.

Safe for Your Family and Pets

We use family safe, pet safe products on a surface you breathe against every night, and we keep the moisture low on purpose. No heavy fragrance. For severe allergies, ask about our hypoallergenic cleaner with no odor or perfume. Let the mattress dry fully before you remake the bed.

Mattress Cleaning Questions

Do you clean memory foam or hybrid mattresses?

No. We clean mattresses as part of our upholstery work, but not memory foam or hybrid mattresses. Tell us what kind you have when you call.

Why is a mattress not steam cleaned like carpet?

The water cannot come back out. A mattress is a thick block of foam and padding with no way to move air through the middle. Water left in the core cannot dry, and a damp foam core is how mold starts.

How long does a mattress take to dry?

Generally a few hours. Do not put bedding back on a mattress that is still damp, because that traps the moisture inside.

Can you remove old urine or sweat stains?

They usually lighten instead of disappearing. Body fluids that have dried and oxidized into the ticking over years have changed the color of the fabric. We do not always know what will come out.

Does mattress cleaning help with allergies?

It removes surface dust, skin cells and the body soil that dust mites feed on, and many allergy sufferers find that helpful. It does not sterilize the mattress.

How often should a mattress be cleaned?

Every 12 to 24 months suits most households, sooner with allergies, accidents or a new baby in the house. A mattress protector between cleanings helps more than anything else.

Wondering about cost? We do not post prices, but you can see what affects the price of upholstery cleaning.
