This gallery covers carpet cleaning results in West Tennessee homes. It shows a matched before and after pair of the same carpet, plus our own job photos. It explains what hot water extraction realistically does for residential carpet, and it says what cleaning cannot change, such as traffic lane wear, bleach spots and dye loss.
Carpet is the surface people most want to see results for, and it is where photos mislead most easily. Lighting, camera angle and freshly groomed pile can make almost any carpet look transformed. So this page tells you what the images are and what to expect in your own home.
What is here today is our own job photography. One photo shows a carpet being cleaned, with a clear line between the cleaned and uncleaned areas. A matched pair shows the same doorway carpet before and after. We extract at 300 to 500 PSI with water heated to 200 to 240°F.
The full method is on the carpet cleaning service page. This page is about what the result looks like.
Before and After
Every photo here is our own work on a job in West Tennessee. Each caption says what the photo shows. These are our carpet cleaning photos. In each pair, both photos show the same floor or piece. One was taken before we cleaned it and one after.

Carpet Job Photos

What does this gallery show right now?
A matched pair of one carpet at a doorway, before and after cleaning, and a photo of cleaning in progress. The images are ours and they are not retouched.
The pair shows the same carpet, so you can see how far it moved. The in-progress photo does the same job in one frame, because the cleaned and uncleaned carpet sit side by side. We add more pairs one job at a time.
What does a realistic carpet result look like?
On most home carpet, the visible change comes from three things leaving the fiber: dry soil that vacuuming never reached, the oily film that holds it in place, and detergent residue from earlier spot cleaning. Once those are flushed out, the color looks deeper, the pile lies evenly and the carpet stops feeling gritty.
We rinse during extraction and neutralize the carpet when it needs it, so no sticky residue is left to pull soil back in. Carpet dries in about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours, and air movers speed it up. You get a chance to look at the work before we leave.
What can carpet cleaning not fix?
Fresh spills usually respond well. Old, set-in stains and stains that were treated before often lighten a good deal rather than disappear. We tell you what we expect when we look at the carpet, though we do not always know what will come out until we clean it. Bleach spots, dye loss and sun fading are color changes in the fiber, so cleaning cannot reverse them.
Traffic lane wear surprises people most. Grit walked into a lane scratches the fiber, and scratched fiber reflects light differently from the carpet beside it. That lane will look duller than the rest of the room even after a thorough cleaning, because it is wear, not soil. Questions about your floors? Call or text (731) 437-0006.
Common Questions
Are the before and after photos the same carpet?
Yes. Both photos show the same carpet at the same doorway, one before we cleaned it and one after. They were taken during the job, so the framing is not identical. We add more pairs as we photograph them.
Will my carpet look like the photographs here?
Carpet in similar condition usually responds in a similar way. Every carpet differs in fiber, age, soil and wear, though. The answer for your floor comes from looking at it, not from a photo of somebody else's room.
How long will my carpet stay wet?
Carpet dries in about half a day, sometimes up to 24 hours. Airflow, humidity and how soiled the carpet was all play a part. Air movers, fans or your air conditioning shorten it, and carpet dries faster in winter than in a humid summer.
